Just got final results back from MRI and his brain stem is intact and he has reaction to stimulus. They took him off his ventilator and he was able to breathe for one min on his own then they put the vent back on to help regulate the co2 levels. Finally some good news for the day.
Awesome news! Little steps but all in the right direction.

ReplyDeleteTo the Wisniewski Family,
ReplyDeleteI was one of the three on the ground seconds after David's event. I want you to know that we all did the best we could for "Wiz" on the ground and I did the best I could for him on the flight back. I'm sorry for the heartache and uncertainty you now must indure. I pray for David's speedy recovery.
Thank you to all of you who did your jobs. Even though he has passed it makes our family feel better. We know what you do is dangerous and sometimes under harsh conditions. We pray for our soldiers everyday to keep them from harm and so that they can come home to their loved ones at the end of the day.Craig
